Landscapes

Landscapes play a major theme in my art primarily because I like to include the sky in the view and because I like the fact that the weather plays a part in the composition.  I love looking up to the sky to watch the clouds dance around, change shape and part ways when the sun attempts to break through thus creating shadows on the landscape. The sky helps create a lot of atmosphere which I strive to capture in my paintings. I am also inspired by the shape and colour of different rock formations and how they’re part of nature for millions of years.
