Emer Aspel Artist
Emer Aspel is a self-taught artist and a native of Waterford. She paints from her home-studio in Ballygunnercastle, near Waterford city. With an MSc. in Biotechnology, she spent twenty years working in the pharmaceutical industry and in management consultancy before committing herself to painting full-time a couple of years ago.
Throughout her life Emer always loved painting, working mainly in oils on either cotton or linen canvas. She’s especially fascinated by Irish skies and how they constantly change throughout the day, altering the tone and colours of the landscape. Her paintings capture the essence and mood of local sceneries, sometimes in an abstract way but always with a touch of reality and reflecting the beauty and wonder of the natural environment.

Fine Art Giclée Prints
A fine art Giclée print is a reproduction of an original oil painting.
Giclée prints are produced using inkjet printers that have small spraying devices that can match the colour and apply ink precisely, producing high quality prints of the original art. Acid free paper is used in the process so the prints don’t fade over time.
Most of Emer’s artwork is available as a limited edition Giclée print. They come in three framed sizes: 50 x 50cm, 50 x 40cm and 68 X 68cm. The frames are made from solid wood and are handmade in West Cork. The frames are either white or limed white in colour, depending on the print image.
Cards
One of the nicest things about living in Waterford is its proximity to the water and many beautiful well known or hidden beaches. I do a lot of walking in Woodstown and Dunmore East and so I’ve built up a collection of paintings from these beautiful areas. I never tire of their beauty and I’m currently building up new collections from other nearby coastlines.
Each pack contains 4 high quality cards with envelopes included. Message inside is blank.
